ELAINE CHA
Book Co-Editor
Elaine Cha moved to St. Louis via Los Angeles in June 2014. Once here, she continued producing collaborative, engagement-driven content with nonprofit organizations (Nine Network, now Nine PBS; the Ferguson Commission; Forward Through Ferguson; Regional Arts Commission).
Today, Elaine is the “founding Storyteller/Journalist for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri. There, she strives to create work that challenges dominant, negative narratives and opens people up to the nuances, complexities, and surprises of being in-the-real-world human.
Elaine continues learning more about the St. Louis region -- her most permanent home to date -- in both her professional and personal life. Her work with HOSTL, and on the HOSTL book, represents the very best of those twin commitments.
